Tea Partiers have gotten aroused by a special election in New York pitting  Conservative Party's Doug Hoffman against moderate Republican Dede Scozzafava.

Locally congressional candidate Liz Lauber issues a statement (attached below) that she has personally donated to the Hoffman campaign and challenges Akin to do the same.
